CASE 5

Severe crowding – adult

In some cases, crowding does not affect the entire dentition but is limited to the anterior teeth of a single arch. This was the situation for this 55-year-old patient.

For many years, she had considered improving her teeth but believed it was no longer possible. The misalignment caused not only aesthetic discomfort, but also persistent tartar accumulation, making daily oral hygiene more difficult and frustrating.

A targeted treatment with Invisalign was carried out to specifically address the affected area.

In just
9 months of treatment (38 aligners, changed weekly), the anterior teeth were aligned and the crowding was resolved in a precise and controlled way.

The result is not only aesthetic. The patient can now smile with greater confidence, and daily oral hygiene has become significantly easier, with improved long-term maintenance.

This case shows how even localized orthodontic treatment can have a meaningful impact, both functionally and aesthetically, with a simple and conservative approach
