Inlays / Onlays

For single or multiple restorations of large cavities, composite or ceramic inlays or onlays are the technique of choice. Inlays and onlays are ceramic or composite prosthetic pieces that replace a missing or defective part of the tooth while keeping it alive.

They are an alternative to large-volume resins and allow more living material to be preserved without the need for a prosthesis that would mutilate the tooth. They are made in the dental laboratory or by computer-assisted milling. The aesthetic result is optimal, with a shade and appearance very close to the natural tooth.
