Simply the best for a young patient

At the end of growth, some young patients may find themselves with a smile that no longer fully matches their facial development, proportions, or aesthetic expectations. In this case, the patient presented with spaces between the teeth, but did not wish to correct them through orthodontic treatment.

The guiding principle was clear from the very beginning: do not touch the natural teeth, and choose the most conservative approach possible.

For this reason, direct composite resin was the material of choice. It allows us to modify the shape, volume, and proportions of the teeth while fully respecting the healthy dental tissues. The material is bonded directly onto the enamel, without unnecessary preparation, making it an ideal solution for young patients when the clinical conditions are favorable.

In this case, the composite was carefully layered and sculpted to close the spaces and recreate a more harmonious smile. Particular attention was given to the natural integration of the restorations: shape, surface texture, brightness, and even the subtle translucencies of the incisal edges were reproduced with a highly mimetic effect.



The final result shows how a minimally invasive treatment can offer a significant aesthetic improvement while preserving the patient’s natural teeth. A discreet, conservative, and highly precise approach — simply the best choice when biology, aesthetics, and long-term respect of the tissues must come first.
