Color
corrections: Bleaching & Microabrasion
Some
discolorations (white or brown) or simply
a dark natural tooth color can be easily corrected
with bleaching and microabrasion. Bleaching
is based on the use of hydrogen peroxide under
various chemical forms and application methods
to lighten teeth, vital or not. Microabrasion
is a chemo-mechanical treatment which is aimed
at removing superficial white stains resulting
from light to mild fluorosis and other white
spots. Both bleaching and microabrasion are
safe and highly conservative aesthetic procedures,
which are routinely used in our clinic. If
bleaching is indicated for you, you can choose
between day or night home bleaching or in-office
bleaching.
